Beautiful handmade ceramic spice containers are twice fired for greater strength and finish. First at 1,472°F and then glaze fired a second time at 2,372° F. Contrasting with the glossy glazed finish, is the attractive wood grains on the lid and tray. Made from Acacia wood that is sanded smooth to the touch and sealed with all natural tung oil for a darker, rich finish. Not only is the finish safe for food, it also helps to repel water and makes it easier to wipe clean.
