Moroccan Meatballs

 1 lb ground beef
 1 small onion, grated
 ½ cup breadcrumbs
 1 egg
 2 cloves garlic, crushed
 ¼ cup coriander/cilantro leaves and stems, finely chopped
 1 tsp each cumin, coriander, paprika
 1 tsp each cinnamon, cayenne pepper
 ½ tsp salt
 black peper
 1 tbsp olive oil
 pita bread
Minted Yogurt Sauce
 1 cup Greek yogurt
 1 clove garlic, crushed
 2 tbsp fresh mint, finely chopped (or 1 tbsp dried mint)
 squeeze of lemon juice
 salt and pepper to taste

Mix in a medium size bowl, the yogurt sauce ingredients. Set aside for 20 minutes.

Add meatball ingredients, except oil, into bowl and mix well.

Measure out 1 tablespoon full of meat and roll into balls.

Heat oil in skillet over medium heat. Cook the meatballs, turn to brown on both sides for 8 minutes or until cooked through. Transfer to plate.

Oven Option instead of the stove. Preheat to 390°F Spray baking sheet with oil and bake for 20 minutes until browned.

Serve wrapped in pita bread with the yogurt sauce on top.
