Corn Fries

 2 corn cobs
 1 tsp salt for boiling
 4 cups water
 1 box tooth picks
 2 pinches garlic powder
 ½ tsp chat masala
 ¼ tsp red chili
 ¼ tsp black pepper
 salt to taste
 2 tsp rice flour
 4 tsp corn flour
 2 tsp lemon juice

Measure the corn cobs and cut less than the length of the tooth pick. Then cut the corn cobs into two halves.


Spear the tooth pick into each row of corn. Apply pressure sideways to remove the corn kernels.


Fill a pot with water and add 1 tsp of salt. Boil the water and cook the corn for 2 to 3 minutes.


Drain the water, and let cool. Mix salt, rice flour, corn flour and black pepper with the corn. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.


In a wok, add oil and fry the corn kernels on high heat.

Masala Seasoning

In a small bowl, mix red chili powder, salt, chat masala, cumin powder and garlic powder. Set aside.


Sprinkle the fried corn fries with the masala seasoning and lemon juice. Serve while hot.
