Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi

 2 tbsp butter
 2 tbsp olive oil
 1 tbsp garlic, minced
 ½ cup dry white wine
 ½ tsp salt
  tsp ground black pepper
 ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
 2 tsp extra large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  cup fresh parsley, chopped
 2 tbsp lemon juice
 1 tsp lemon zest
 3 cups cooked spaghetti squash

In a large sauce pan, heat the oil and butter on medium high.

Add garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

Add white wine, salt, black pepper, red pepper and cook for 2 minutes.

Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes or until opaque.

Remove from heat and stir in the parsley, lemon juice and lemon zest.

Serve over spaghetti squash or cauliflower rice.

Top with parmesan cheese if desired.
